Help Emmaus Bloom!

Last year in lieu of Easter flowers, donations were made to our landscaping fund for flowering trees.  The varieties suggested were the Serviceberry, Virginia Fringe and Pansy Redbud trees.  Subsequently, in our spring pruning, we found a Virginia Fringe Tree at the corner of the Fellowship hall.  We planted them on Spring Building and Grounds day. After discussions with the nurserymen, it was clear that each species has its day.  Some bloom in the spring, others in the fall, but none are beautiful all year.  This year we intend to use the donations for more plantings, with emphasis on species that are pretty in the fall and winter.  We welcome your suggestions.
