Emmaus' Council is the governing body of the Church. Chairs of each Board, plus the Moderator, the Senior Minister and two Members-at-Large meet monthly to oversee and make decisions about the life of the congregation.
Emmaus UCC is a progressive, open and affirming congregation that celebrates the diverse theological beliefs of its members within a warm Christian community.
We covenant with each other to further our personal relationship with God, to support the process of private discernment, and to hear God speak through a wide range of teachers.
Our actions reflect our belief that God is still speaking in the modern World.
