About Happenings

"Happenings," the Emmaus newsletter, helps us communicate with each other about our spirituality, church events, and congregational news. In addition to the message from Rev. Bill and Board reports, these features include:

• A calendar
• Prayer list
• Congregational events
• Personal milestones (such as birthdays and anniversaries)
• Informational articles (such as explanations of church traditions and groups)
• Member interviews

"Happenings" is mailed out to the congregation, unless members request not to receive it by mail.

But we need help to make this happen. We need help writing material. We need help getting the issue ready to be mailed out. Thanks go to Janelle Swennson, Louise Baxter, Anita Bruck, Heidi Warrington, and Julie Holec for agreeing to lend a hand. Can you help by submitting an article or a piece of information? It can be small an upcoming birthday, or even a joke or a fuller piece. Whatever you can, send it to me. Or perhaps you can help fold and label the newsletter.

Together, we can make ³Happenings² reflect our spiritual (and spirited) journey as a congregation.
