Nursery Care

Thank you for agreeing to help. You are a very important part of the life of our Church, helping to provide our littlest ones with a loving and safe environment in which to learn and grow.

These guidelines have been prepared for you by the HUGENS Chairperson. If you have further questions or if you trade dates with another volunteer, please contact the Church Office at 703-938-1555.

1. Arrival Time: 10:15 am. Please wear your name tag and be ready to take care of children. This is very important!
2. Help the Nursery Care Provider set up and clean up.
3. Please remain in the Nursery from the time the children arrive until all have been picked up (except for quick trips to the bathroom). Keep all children in the Nursery. Do not take children outdoors or in the hall, or allow them to play there.
4. Please do not allow older siblings in the Nursery during the Worship Service and Church School, since our space is so limited.
5. If you have any special difficulties or needs, the Sunday School Support person is available in the 2s and 3s room to lend a hand.
6. Even if only one child is present, it is important that you remain in the Nursery to help.
